Its such wonderful FUN!

Our Hoomans have really done themselves prouds this year with all da pawtastic decorations around our house, (although I'm just in it fur da FOOD, not the branches and candles and stuff) and they thoughts you'd like to see.....

The French Holiday Part 2

Hello again!
Today we haves part 2 of my French Holiday fur you doggies!! To see part 1 of my travels click HERE............

So it was Friday 9th July and we'd all settled in to our lovelys holiday house just fine. We wanteds to see more of the beautiful area of France we were in (the Dordogne), so we wents on an evening outing to an old, castle town called Bourdeilles......it was the most fairytale-like place we hads ever seen and Bunnie starteds to think she was the princess in the tower!
Our Hoomans got some lovelys photos....

Just as the sun was settings, we arrived.
Bourdeilles is a very old, medieval town filled with rich history........

Heres the castle walls......

So dramatic!

We saw the church.....

and the park....

and an open vegitable garden.....

and the beautifuls views of the surrounding fields!

It was so magical and peaceful; afterwards we founds a cafe where a band was playings songs on all sorts of strange instruments and we sat and listened fur a while! Then we slowly mades our way home and wents to bed.

The next day it was grey clouds and no sunshine - too cold fur swimming, so we all wents off in the big van fur a bicycle ride!

Off we go!!!

Now, Bunnie hads never run alongs beside a bicycle befores, and she is a bit too small to keeps up with the Hoomans, so heres what they did instead....
They poit her in a basket!

Hmmmm! Why don'ts I gets a basket Mummy??? Mummy said she wanteds me to slim down! Imagine, me fat?! NEVER! Anyway, I hads to make do and the Hoomans gots on their bicycles and we speeded off!

 We cycled fur a while....

Bunnie enjoyed herself, just lounging in that basket......

We stopped at and old, dilapidateds railway station along the cycle path.....

it was pretty eerie.....so we carried on cycling........

We pasted some cycle path art......

Then we cycled through one of the top 25 prettiest towns in France.....

 It was SO pretty!

We passed a delightful manor house....

we saw a hauntings, old church......

Then we stopped at a cafe and had some lunch!
Afters that we carried on around the town.....

a war memorial.....

and a pretty bridge.....
Then we made our way backs along the cycle path.

When we gots back to the van, I was so very tired, havings to run along beside my Hoomans as they zoom on was such hard work!! I was so glads to gets back to the house and crash outs at the end of the day.

The next day was our last day :( so our Hoomans dids a lot of swimmings in that strange pool and sun-bathed in the heat. Then they tooks me and Bunnie fur a walk in the park in Brantome near us.

It was glorious and sunny....

Me and Bunnie stiffed arounds by the riverside......

trotteds alongs the path....

Yeah, Bunnie was chillings out, there with the baguettes!
Then boughts some provisions fur da travel day.
It was a perfect last day!!! We then wents back to our holiday house and cooked a lovelys dinner of Risotto over the fire....YUM!

The next day the Hoomans packed ups the big van and hads their last splash in the pool, then we set off on the LONG journey home!
We drove and drove.....and DROVE! Eventually, we gots back home at 3 o'clock in the morning afters driving through the night and slept like a log! Me and Bunnie are still restings and settlings in to our old den, but be assured, we will be doings some more bloggings soon!
We hope you're all well and enjoyed this post.
Love,
Enid & Bunnie
